Coprésences, conflits, complémentarités dans les usages des lieux par les touristes et les habitants (introduction)

Abstract : The uses of places are linked to increasingly massive and complex mobilities which are part of multi-faceted temporalities and experiential research, in a context of growing porosity between tourist and non-tourist spaces (Gravari-Barbas and Delaplace 2015). These mobilities and complexified practices also contribute to blurring the contours of established statistical categories. Apart from residents, tourists, and excursionists, other forms of "temporary presents" intersect, meet, link, complement, ignore one another, or conflict in these places, which can be shared in a temporal manner (Ouellet, 2019) or be places of more or less peaceful cohabitation.
