Probabilistic structural modeling in linear dynamic analysis of complex mechanical systems, I - Theoretical elements

Abstract : In this paper, we introduce a novel theory called the fuzzy structure theory. In a first part, we present theoretical elements of a probabilistic modeling of structural fuzzy in linear dynamic analysis of complex mechanical systems. The structural fuzzy is defined as the set of minor subsystems that are connected to the master structure but are not accessible by classical modeling. We propose a global probabilistic modeling of the structural fuzzy in order to improve the calculated estimates of the MF vibrations into the master structure. The numerical developments and a few examples are presented in part II of this publication.
