Renouveler la pédagogie en urbanisme par une démarche centrée sur les compétences

Abstract : Paris School of Urban Planning (École d’Urbanisme de Paris – EUP) is the place for reflection for the implementation of a competence-based approach. Initially, the construction of a competency description text served as mediation and led to better objectifying the learning objectives. This competence-based approach was then tested in two workshops for the second year of a Master's degree with the aim of better supporting students in taking up the learning challenges of the workshop and reflecting on their work. The experience has been extended to workshops carried out in the first year of the Master. In this article we tell about this experience, we analyze its contributions both for the teaching team and for the students, as well as on the changes it has introduced in the teacher-student relationship. The conclusion allows us to approach the difficulties that were encountered, the limits of this experience and some perspectives.
