New governance and support tool for decision: challenges for effective adoption

The target of any support tool in a decision process is to enlighten the decision-maker to take a quick and safe position or at least minimize the degree of
uncertainty in decision process. It provides transparency in processing and accuracy in decision making that is based on reliable and neutral information (free of constraint). But the decision is almost always influenced by external factors such as political, cultural and social pressures as the adoption of these tools are sometimes problematic and receive a mixed reception. On one hand, there are those who appreciate the clarity, traceability and availability of reliable information and on the other, those who see the tool as a private mechanism of accrued benefits. This article aims to present not only the difficulties in the implementation process in Cameroon to help decision tool that we developed for the education system but also to sketch some solutions that will facilitate its adoption and optimize its use.
