La virgen Cabeza: las voces de la villa y de las diversidades sexuales

Abstract : Abstract Part of the new Argentine narrative produced by the two thousand's has been characterized by a work in the language and a treatment of topics of social sensibility. This narrative has contributed to the incorporation of groups sectors of the society historically marginalized of the center of the agenda of public opinion. The novel La virgen cabeza, by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara, achieves to show an encounter of two cultures within the same society. In the story the spotlight has been displaced of the scene: while the bourgeois and middle-class universe dominated the statements in the Argentine literature post-boom has been written, for instance, the first Cabezon Cámara novel, about the people at the margins of the argentine society, that is to say, the inhabitants of shanty towns and the sexual diversity.
