Building architecture influence on EM field assessment in urban environment

Abstract : The Green's functions associated with the interface between two semi-infinite media are used as a computational method to obtain the scattered electric field in the near and far zones of buildings while considering architectural details. A simplifying homogenization technique is applied in far regions and an appropriate application area is proposed in realistic cases. The validity of the results is reinforced by some statistical studies.
