Women in mathematics in France
Résumé
This paper discusses the current status of women mathematicians in France. Recent sex-disaggregated data for universities and research institutes reveal how the situation of women mathematicians is dete- riorating in France. The paper describes the actions of the associations of women scientists or engineers in France to promote sciences towards young people and to help improve the situation of women. The paper ends by analysing the recent government programs being implemented in the past ten years.
