Simple electrical model to calculate patch array antenna S-parameters

A simple electrical model is proposed to calculate patch array antenna S-parameters. This model takes into account coupling between patches. To validate it, the model has been applied to a four-patch array antenna. The predicted results are compared with measured data and good agreement is reported.
