Condensed matter physics, molecular chemistry and materials science are the principal research fields of CINaM.

We synthesize and fabricate materials and objects from molecules, nanoparticles and atomic clusters to thin films and devices, we caracterize their structures and study their properties.

The results of this interdisciplinary research are published in principal specialized and general scientific journals. In the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, the research teams from CINaM recently published numerous papers in all leading scientific journals (Nanoscale, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, Small, Nano Research,…) These results confirm the high quality of the scientific research of CINaM and the performance of the instrumentation services (electron and near field microscopy) and the technological platforms (Planète).
